At Redline Travel Barnsley, we understand that personal belongings can occasionally be misplaced or left inside one of our vehicles.
While passengers remain responsible for checking that they have all personal belongings when leaving the vehicle, we will make reasonable efforts to assist with the recovery and return of property that has been found and handed to us or one of our driver partners.
-----
Returning Misplaced or Lost Property
If one of our drivers has your property in their possession and you would like the item returned directly to you, a fee will be charged.
The return fee will be based on the cost of travel from the driver's current location to the agreed delivery destination.
The return of lost property is subject to driver availability and must be arranged in advance.
-----
Collecting Misplaced or Lost Property
If we or one of our drivers confirms that your property has been handed in, you will need to provide an accurate description of the item and details of the journey you made before arrangements can be made for collection.
This information may include:
* A description of the item
* The date and approximate time of your journey
* Your pickup and destination
* Any other relevant information that may help us identify the property
You must sign for any item once it has been successfully claimed and collected.
-----
How Long We Hold Lost Property
Due to limited storage space, we can only hold unclaimed misplaced or lost property for a maximum of 6 weeks.
After this period, unclaimed property may be donated, disposed of or handed to the appropriate organization in accordance with this policy.
We recommend contacting us as soon as possible if you believe you have left an item in one of our vehicles.
-----
